Emotional Bread-crumbing

Emotional bread-crumbing is a manipulative behavior where someone intermittently offers just enough attention to keep another person interested, without any genuine intention of forming a real or lasting relationship

 The signs ;

  • Inconsistent Communication Style - They might send occasional messages but without any consistent pattern or effort to maintain regular contact. Communication is on their terms. They decide when they want to reach out and often do not respond even when they have contacted you first. They send flirtatious or affectionate messages that give the impression of interest, but they don’t follow through with any concrete action.
  • Avoidant Behavior - When you make plans or suggest meeting up, they often respond with vague or non-committal responses. They flirt with you online or through text, but they avoid in-person interactions and real-life commitments. They often claim to be busy and unavailable, making it difficult to make plans or spend quality time together.
  • Your Feelings - You feel confused about where the relationship stands and unsure of their intentions. They might deflect or change the subject when you try to have a serious conversation. Your feelings fluctuate between excitement and dejection, depending on your interaction with them. They will give compliments one day and then ignore you the next, leaving you feeling unsure about their true feelings.
Why Do People Breadcrumb ;
  • Fragile Self-Esteem - Individuals with fragile self-esteem often feel worthless and unlovable when they do not get enough attention and recognition. While they might be terrified of being alone, commitment may feel equally frightening. Therefore, they will give others just enough attention to keep them interested without committing to a relationship.
  • Emotional Avoidance - Bread-crumbers who are emotionally closed off will avoid commitment, close relationships, and deep conversations. Emotional avoidance is often a result of an Avoidant attachment style. Attachment theory proposes that the quality of the relationships we have with our caregivers in childhood plays a significant role in shaping our emotional and social development throughout our lives. This influences how we perceive ourselves, others, and how we navigate relationships. As a result, individuals with this style often have conflicting desires for closeness and distance in their relationships, avoiding emotional intimacy and attachment in adulthood.
  • Personality - Bread-crumbing is known to be associated with a narcissistic or egocentric personality style. This personality style is characterized by a lack of empathy, a sense of entitlement for the unconditional attention and admiration of others, and an excessive need for control. As narcissists tend to lack empathy, they may not realize how bread-crumbing can lead to confusion, frustration, and emotional distress for the person on the receiving end. Instead, they live in peaceful ignorance as they enjoy the attention and interest they receive from others.
  • Some other reasons include - Fear of commitment , filling a temporary emotional void, keeping their options open while maintaining connections with multiple people, uncertainty or indecision about their own feelings or desires, external pressures, societal norms, or peer influences, personal traumas / emotional baggage.
Dealing With Bread-crumbing ;
  • Do Not Take It Personally - Bread-crumbing is not the victim’s fault. The behavior is a result of the bread-crumbers’ personality style, fragile self-esteem, and emotional unavailability. You need to recognize the inconsistent communication and mixed signals for what they are and stop putting your time and energy into trying to make the relationship work.
  • Trust Your Instincts - If you feel that something is off or that the relationship isn’t progressing as it should, trust your instincts. If a person likes you, they are usually clear about it and will not leave you wondering. So be honest with yourself: why you are tolerating inconsistent communication, mixed messages, and avoidant behavior? Decide whether this person is worth pursuing or whether there is a deeper reason why you are allowing them to treat you in this way.
  • Set and Maintain Boundaries - Taking back control means establishing firm boundaries for yourself. Determine what you’re comfortable with in terms of communication, commitment, and the level of effort you’re willing to invest. Communicate your boundaries and expectations firmly. If they are able to respect your boundaries and adapt their behavior accordingly, a future relationship might be possible. However, if they are unable to respect your boundaries and the bread-crumbing persists, it may be necessary to consider ending the relationship.
  • Communicate Openly - Have an honest conversation with the other person about your feelings and concerns. When you are faced with bread-crumbing behavior, call the bread-crumber out. Express how their behavior is affecting you and ask for clarity about their intentions.
  • Focus on Self-Care - Prioritize self-care and emotional well-being. Engage in activities that bring you joy, spend time with supportive friends and family, and engage in hobbies that boost your confidence and sense of self. Take time to reflect on your own needs and desires in a relationship. If bread-crumbing continues despite your efforts to communicate and set boundaries, consider limiting your contact with the person or walking away. Remember that your emotional well-being is important, and you have the right to be in a relationship where you feel valued and respected.
What Is the Difference Between Bread-crumbing and Gas-lighting?

Bread-crumbing involves sending sporadic and vague messages to keep someone’s interest without any intention of genuine commitment or progression in the relationship.

Gas-lighting is a form of emotional manipulation where one person seeks to undermine the victim’s perception of reality, causing them to doubt their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

What does the author has to say in this ?

Well, after a few thorough readings from multiples resources, I firmly believe that I have been bread-crumbing mostly everyone in my whole life. This is only I realized after people seriously confronted me about it.

Probably I am just trying to deny that the very rotten part of me is actually exists, or justifying my actions were all based on traumatic responses but of course one must no make them as excuses for treating people badly. Maybe, just maybe, I did not want to hurt them in the first place but unknowingly the whole time, I did. Maybe I thought I have already given the best that I can to make them feel nice, but to think of it, no I did not give my best. Perhaps, all I ever wanted is to make them happy in any way I can afford to because I want to appreciate or consolate for the feelings that they have for me, without actually asking myself, "is this truly what I wanted?"

Either way, at the age of 31, I reflect on my behaviors ; the past, present and how it is going to impact not only my future but for the others too. As for now, the best way for me is to be 100%  honest and truthful, because sugar-coating and lies will eventually making things even worse.

Yes, I can be a good friend, a great listener. But in terms of relationship, I failed big time.

This has been a very eye-opening and good lessons. I am deeply feel regret for making people upset, for making them feel unwanted and distant, for making them beg for just a piece of attention and love, for making them overthink and anxious, for all the time and resources wasted.

I pray they are given the peace and strengths from the Al-Mighty. I pray they will be healed along their journey in this life. I pray they be surrounded by kind and loving people, even it means that I have to step back and out.

And for the bread-crumbers that are currently reading this ; stop crumbing. Have a heart-to-heart talk and respond in kind. If you have the desire to control and manipulate, then seek professional help. You want to please people so that you will appear angelic and desirable? Oh prioritize and manage your emotions first. Apologize and then leave people alone until you can decide to stop hurting them.

From "We're Just Friends" to "I'm in Love"

"The human brain does dumb things when it’s in love, even if it refuses to admit that love is what it’s feeling.”Everything Is Awful.
Acknowledge what it was
It’s not uncommon for friends to fall for each other,. You might be tempted to avoid your feelings for your friend, but it's best to consider them, and figure out how you're feeling. Being honest about your emotions and being vulnerable won’t destroy you. In fact, it’ll only make you stronger. Keep in mind, if we ever fell in love with someone and that love was not reciprocated. OK. That’s what it is, but knowing that fact doesn’t destroy us. Oh, most certainly it hurts like all hell, but if it was love, of course the loss of it is going to hurt.
Some friendships aren’t ready for a conversation about feelings. It’s important to think about their personality. If they’re not someone who likes to talk about their feelings, maybe a long conversation about your feelings isn’t the way to tell them. Many times, the best path is by behavior instead of words. or example, inviting your best friend to be your date at a casual event, or to meet your parents for coffee when they are in town, will allow you to explore your friend's comfort level.

What if it did not go well?
You told your friend how you feel. They apologized and said they just didn’t feel the same way, though they valued your friendship. You agreed the friendship was important and assured them you wanted to stay friends. You feel sad and hurt, but you’ve experienced rejection before and know the feelings will pass in time. It’s normal to grieve, to feel hurt, sad, confused, or angry. But it’s also important not to direct those feelings at your friend. When your friend doesn’t return your romantic feelings, you both might struggle to deal with the situation. Yet friendships can recover from unrequited love if the situation is addressed with care and maturity. What happens next depends on both you and your friend.
Your friend might also need space. If they seem distant after you’ve told them how you feel, consider that they too may need to work through what happened. They may feel sadness or guilt and wonder how to act to prevent hurting you further. Give them some time. If you communicated daily in the past, after a few days you might send a casual message letting them know you’re there when they’re ready. Then wait for them to reach out.
“That’s why you don’t look for love. It comes to you just at the right time; the time you never thought it would have.” —MindBootstrap
Moving on doesn’t always look like a complete reversal of feelings or vilifying someone (though in very toxic situations, that may be totally justified). Perhaps being at peace comes from acknowledging that someone can still be a good-hearted person without also being the right person for you, right now. You may not stop loving them, but grow to love them in a different, honest way. Similarly, it doesn’t mean that you stop having feelings for them or stop being hurt by their actions, but you just step back and realize your expectation of them did not align with reality.

Give it time
We don't want to lose them — we likes having them in his life. If you tell your friend you like them and it doesn’t go well, you can still salvage the friendship. It will just take some time. “Time is the great healer,” If the friendship is worth having, it will survive, and so will you.

"Affection is when you see someone's strengths. Love is when you accept someone's flaws." —One Day

Not Everything Could Last

People generally come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

So many people have swallowed the pill teaching us that an ideal relationship is an end goal to aspire to. They forget that what’s important is the growth and experience that comes with the relationship itself. It’s about the time we spend with others – interacting with one another, helping each other grow and evolve and become better people – not just reaching some finish line that’s expected to stay exactly as is forever. If someone left a job they’d been at for five or ten years because they needed to change direction in their career, did they fail at that job? No, they’re just not the same person they were when they began, and recognized that their needs have changed accordingly.

I’m not one to get mushy when it comes to exes. But even I have to admit that everyone I ever dated left some impression on me. They had worldviews or life philosophies that touched mine. We love to talk about our terrible exes, and what they did to us. It’s true a lot of times. But there’s also simply the knowledge and experiences they’ve had. There’s the hopes and ambitions they share. All of this leaves a print. We pick up little bits and pieces of code from other people and copy them into the DNA of our own personalities. On the smallest level, we emerge from each relationship a different person. Each time we start a new relationship, we’re either bringing baggage or new knowledge and skills — a new us.

You’re not the same person that you were a week ago, let alone a year, or a decade ago. People change constantly, and not always in the same direction, so it’s inevitable that many relationships will end once they’ve served their purpose. This isn’t failure, it’s personal growth, and should be appreciated and respected as such, rather than condemned. Forcing a relationship to last longer than it should out of a sense of obligation, or fear of failure, means that we’re not truly appreciating the connection in the present moment… and that does both parties a terrible disservice.

Love isn’t constant or permanent. Nor is it unconditional. Yeah it sucks to admit, but like every other emotion, love is just a bunch of neurochemical reactions happening in our brains which exist to help us survive in this world.

Do We Need To Change

Love can change your world, but should you let it change who you are as a person? When you’re in the throes of passion, you might feel like you’d do absolutely anything for the person you love. And that you’d do it with a smile on your face. But in the long run, changing – or trying to change – who you are will spell nothing but trouble if the change isn’t authentic and natural. When you’re in love with someone, they’re likely to be the person you spend most of your time with.
And since we continually absorb information from and observe the behavior of those around us, your partner is bound to have an influence on your character and your habits, whether or not you’re conscious of it. Compromise is also a massive part of a relationship, as no two people will be able to slot seamlessly into each other’s lives without both of them making a little space.
We people change – we can be miserable or we can be happy. It’s what you make of your life
However, you can’t force yourself to change, and you need to consider whether any changes you do make will be positive for the two of you after the initial flush of love has worn off. You’ll also need to ask whether you’re making the changes because you want to for the sake of your relationship or you have found yourself being pressured to by your partner. Every relationship is different, but it is very beneficial for your relationship for you to consider whether the changes you’re making to yourself are healthy or unhealthy.
Whilst you might find someone who’s pretty close to perfect for you, no one is truly perfect. You’ll need to be willing to adapt in order to make it work with someone wonderful. There’s a difference between changing yourself as a person because you want someone to love you and changing small things about yourself because you want things to work with someone who already loves you for who you are.
no one is truly perfect
If you are going to change yourself for someone you love, that should be entirely your decision, and you should be conscious of it, and doing it for the right reasons. You shouldn’t be doing it because you feel like you need to change fundamental things about yourself in order to earn somebody’s love. Whether your partner openly pressures you to change or does so by dropping small hints, it’s not healthy. You are wonderful just the way you are, and anyone you’re in a relationship with should love you that way. Whilst compromise is important, love shouldn’t be something you have to earn by molding yourself into your partner’s dream lover.
You always want to do things for yourself first, not in a selfish way. More like in a self-loving way.

MOTIVATED FORGETTING

Recently , I had gone through a few readings on Motivated Forgetting. There were multiples times where people had been asking about my back stories and I admit I might have mixed the information that probably confused them. Some even said "are you telling lies right now?" and that actually offends me because in all seriousness, I'm very true to myself and the people surrounding me. I did explained to them that I usually forgot some past occurrence because, they were painful and quite disturbing. So whenever I tried to do a story-telling of my life, some parts of of it were missing or , I just created a new memory based on the emotions that still lingers or based on the main core of the memory.Motivated Forgetting ; a theorized psychological behavior in which people may forget unwanted memories, consciously or unconsciously. Some of the theories are :

1. People forget memories because they don't want to remember them.

2. Painful or disturbing memories are made unconscious and very difficult to retrieve, but still remained in storage.

3. Decay theory - forgetting which refers to the loss of memory over time.

4. Interference theory - subsequent learning with and degrade a person's memories.

5. The Gestalt theory - memories are forgotten through distortion @ false memory syndrome.

As for me, I had probably underwent point 1,2 and 5.

REPRESSION

People subconsciously push unpleasant or intolerable thoughts and feelings into their unconscious, When situations or memories occur that we are unable to cope with, we push them away. Repressed memories can influence behaviors unconsciously , manifesting themselves in our discussion, dreams and emotional reactions. Example, a abused child has no recollection of the event for years but has trouble forming relationships.

SUPRESSION

It is the conscious and deliberate efforts to curtails one's thought and memories. It is a goal-directed ; includes conscious strategies to forget. Example, someone thinking of unpleasant thoughts , ideas or  inappropriate images at the moment. They may try to think of anything else but the unwanted thoughts; in order to push the thought out of consciousness. It also can be linked to Directed Forgetting @ intentional forgetting - imitated b a conscious goal to forget.

PSYCHOLOGICAL AMNESIA

The inability to remember past experience of personal information,  due to psychological factors rather than biological dysfunction/ brain damage. The memories still exist, buried deeply in the mind, but could resurfaced at any time on their own/from being exposed to a trigger in the person's surroundings.

Writer's note
Although forgetting is often negative, this emphasis neglects a fundamental feature of human existence; not all experiences are pleasant. To preserve our emotions state, to protect out sense of self, sometimes simply to concentrate on what needs to be done. Therefore, any scientific theory of forgetting must include an account of the considerable motivational forces that shapes retention.
I believe that all that had been mentions above are kinds of a defence mechanisms, where we just want to protect ourselves from feeling those unwanted emotions and flashbacks. So if people are accusing us of lying and being uncertain, just explain to them about these things, in hopes they get a bit more understanding and empathy of others. :)

in order for a man to move on, one must needs to forget

WTF Happened in 2020

 AS the title written ;

WTF happened in 2020 ft writer's view
Well, to list them out on global scale

WWIII almost happened
Australia was on fire
Covid-19 shuts down everything
Police murdered an innocent man (not surprised)
Political dramas (this has been on forever)

As for the writer

Holidays cancelled
Flights cancelled and I couldn't go back to my hometown to see mom
Depression and insomnia are getting worse
Works too much (but I should be grateful for it or else I'm going to get backlashes)
and other personal issues that I can't share here

2020 so far were mostly unfortunate but I'm grateful because they kinda lead to some good things for me. For the first time, I actually talk to my mom about few personal things and honestly , I never expected that she would acceptit. She wants the best for her daughter , so what ever decisions that I made, I knew it is the best for me. The load has been lifted off my shoulders. I never share or talk about my feelings with my mom, but this year hits me different and hard. At the age of 26, who ever thought that I still need my mom. This whole year has made me realize that I am not ready to leave comfort zone ; that I am not ready for any commitment which might costs my youth and freedom. I realized that I don't want to hold any responsible or take care of others , yet. I didn't mean to say that I AM NOT A RESPONSIBLE PERSON , no. Listen. I am still struggling of taking care of myself. At what point do you think that I'm going to be responsible for anyone else ? If you can't handle your surrounding then just stop. Take a step back and contemplate, from there you decide whether you want to continue where you stop or you start fresh and walk a new path. As for me, I let my grip off from everything that bring me down and walk away from it, to discover a new and better path for me. Starting from zero means you're going to do it all over again but this time in different means or ways.
My job has been making me feel tight this year. Since March, I've been coming home feeling extremely exhausted and grumpy. Covid19 ruined my motivation to live and work for the days. When I'm feeling down and shits, I can't really get myself to do the things that I love, such as drawing and painting. I bought new tools and equipment so that I can paint, record and share the results with my friends. But nah, no motivation for that. Bought hiking shoes and trekking pole because I want to get active and go hike ( self proclaim nature loving haha) , but how can we go out if there are Movement Control Order ? I love going out to watch cinema once every 2 weeks but cinema are not opening. Travelling around like a free hippies and chilling in new places. I have not done any of these since Covid19 pandemic, thus, making me so unmotivated. With this negative feelings, new tasks are given to me, more stress more loads. Ugh.. I tried to be honest with my colleagues about how stress I am nowadays but I can't bring myself to do that. They might think that I am a crybaby but little that they know that I am already a depressed person since , 13 or 14. Lol. Many times I have considered to talk to the doctors but, it is not a good idea to talk about your mental health among your colleagues in a work place. Sooooo, I wrote emails to the Befrienders and the staffs are quite cool. They reply to you. tho it might take some times haha but it is okay. It helped me a bit.
Politics in 2020, I have like 15% of whats going on so I have no place to talk about it. You all can refer to any great blogs that are more informative regarding to that issue.

Is there anything else I want to share? Well so far that is all from me. I hope next time, you all will be getting only good news from me. Take care , I wish everyone is well in this pandemic. <3

2018 & Little Happiness

I've been missing out from this blog and to make it up to you all, here is a brief writing of what this year was all about and how I've been surviving through all the days in it. This is truly from my own thoughts and hope you guys would learn a thing or two from my experiences. Cheers!

Not many know where and what kind of job that I'm doing right now (and maybe for the next 32 years).
I am working in a public medical center somewhere in Selangor, as a pharmacy technician or rather known as assistant pharmacist. I've been working for about a year now and so far I have come to a liking of my working environment especially my colleagues. Seniors and bosses have been treating me so nice. Can you believe me when I say that I gained 15 kilos since the day that I've started working here? kid you no. "Zira, akak ada bawa makanan ni, makan tauu" "Zira, nak ni tak?" "Zira tolong habiskan makanan tu" Soooooooo, how can I say no to that? Food is love and food is life everyone!  I bought a new pair of running shoes so I need to have a good use of that lol
My jobs are to prepare and provide health services to the community, I can't deny there were few patients that really got on my nerves but I always remember to keep it cool and show to them that not all government servants are cocky as what they claimed us to be! Duh!
My friendship with my 2 best friends, Amy and Pritina, are still strong as ever! By the way, Pritina just got married with his husband last year in December and I was her bride's maid. Amy was there too and we had a very nice reunion. Ah while I'm writing this, the thought of them making me miss them even more. Pritina and Amy both living a good life it seem tho we stayed apart from each other,  I hope these two beautiful ladies live a happy and successful life.  <3
My dearest mom and dad. The last time I've seen them was last Eid this year. Of course I'm missing them all the time but I'm okay of living far away from home (for the sake of working) I am not a clingy and spoiled daughter. I grew up in a tough environments but a loving family. They taught me to be punctual on time, always clean up after a mess and to work if you wanted something. My mom did not always spoon-fed me, taught myself to be independent because there will be times when you'll be alone and no one will be there for you and always remember to have a control over my own thoughts and emotions. Dad taught me that knowledge is a priority in one's life and people should always keep on exploring and never give up on learning. I can confidently say that my dad is a wise person and I always admired how knowledgeable my dad is. I always pray that my family is safe under the protection of The Almighty and may Allah bless them with good health <3 Aamiin.
The act of gratefulness makes one think deeply about their life and find real reasons to be grateful. I discovered that the world is not as bad as it seems when I started taking notes and finding reasons to be grateful. It tired out there was so much to be grateful for. It helped me focus on the positive things in my life and also see the good in my experiences, because my experiences have values. I’ve learnt a lot of important life lessons this year that have helped improved the quality of my days, and consequently my life.
This is for everyone who is reading this,
I hope you find the happiness you have been searching for. You shouldn’t have to live your life so sad, you shouldn’t have to live it so alone and lost. You should get to be happy. You deserve it, more than anything else in this world, you deserve happiness.
I hope you find the answers you have been needing. You have let these questions ruin your life. I just want you to be able to put those questions to rest, the ones that have kept been keeping you up all night. I want you to find peace in those questions and be able to begin living your life the way it was meant to be.
I hope you realize you aren’t alone. There are so many of us supporting you, so many people who care so much about you, and I just hope you can realize that. I hope you can realize how loved you are, how many people want you to be happy and are on your side.
I hope you are able to move on.
Putting the past behind you is so much harder than the world makes it out to be, and I get that, but you have to do it. You have to put those mistakes and accidents behind you, because that is exactly what they are: past memories. I hope you can leave them behind. That toxic relationship, whether it is one you are in now or one you have been out of but struggling to get over, I hope you can move on from them. You don’t deserve to be put through this any longer, and they sure as hell do not deserve your energy.
I hope you find happiness and peace. Most of all, I hope you find the happiness you deserve to experience every single day. I hope that you are able to see your potential and understand that you are worth the smile on your face. You need peace. You deserve peace. You have been through so much, more than anyone should ever have to go through, and you are stronger because of it. But even the strongest people in the world deserve rest. You shouldn’t have to battle each and every day of your life, not the way you have been. You have overcame through some dark clouds, and will continue to if you need to, but hopefully 2019 will be better.
I hope 2019 will be different for me, for us, for everyone in this world. Spend your days finding that happiness for yourself. For once in your life, put your own happiness above those around you.
Hope to see you guys again soon! That is all from me,
your truly,
Zira

Live in the Present

I think the key to a good quality life is in the present moment. It is in here and now. It is in the present that I am currently living in. I don't live in my past anymore and I don't know how I am going to live in the future. Too many people are preoccupied with their past ; not letting go and moving on. Too many people are obsessed with their future ; always rushing and looking at what comes next
But how many are mindful of the present?
The present is our centre. Our past and our future are in the periphery ; not because they are not important, but because they are not focus. The focus is on the here and now. The past is history, we learn from it. The future is mystery, we don't know much about it. Both the past and the future play a supporting role in the story of our life, but the present is the leading role.
It is all about the present moment.

The life that we currently live in is a fast-paced life. We are constantly reminded of our past and we are constantly pushed for our future. We need to spare some time each day to refocus our lives because the life that we live in tends to push us off course. Spend some time each day to revisit why we d the things that we do and differentiate between the things that matter and the things that don't. Spend sometime each day to step back and look at the bigger picture ; about where we came from, where we are and where we are going.
Spend some time each day to live in the moment.

Be Thankful

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
So be thankful for the people that became parts of your life.
I'm thankful for the love that my parent poured on me, for the friends that never forget me and for the man that accepts me for who I am. These people made my life seemed bright and right.

A Short Thought

Looking back now, I was kind of lost and probably even pretty depressed at times. I wasn't happy with myself or my life.
Fortunately, I got through that period. I got to a place where I could truly love myself and be happy even without having a significant other to lean on. And once I reached that place, everything else good followed. I have a great mom and awesome best friends. I'm truly happy. And though I still have issues with anxiety , I can confidently say that I love my life, and I am so grateful for what I have.
For anyone else going though tough times, please remember that things will always get better. Time heals. And if you don't give yourself a chance, you may never know or experience the amazing things that are in store for you. Always love yourself first, and the rest will follow.
  Things will always get better
